To the last days of December Russian refrigerators started to break down with foods. There are everything inside it, but nothing can be eat - ”Don’t touch, it’s for the New Year”. We’ve got used to this phrase from childhood. And on the 31 of December, when the main dishes are cooking it is at all almost became a fasting. There are a lot of food, but it’s still ”... it’s for the New Year”, so you stay hungry. It seems that by this hunger strike your appetite should rises up to the skies, that when the evening with that mistery New Year finally will come, you could eat without stopping until morning. Isn’t it silly? What for this overeating, isn’t it be better to eat a bit during the day and feel comfortable, instead of this ”Out of the frying pan into the fire”. But this type of life is in general characteristic to Russians. They can work hard, without weekends, sleep a little, eat bad, limit yourself, all for that then to go into spree or have expensive vacation... After the midnight when all have already ate and drunk enough comes the time for other amusement - fireworks. A couple of weeks before New Year all around appears booths which are selling all kinds of pyrotechnics, that to the main night of the year, people were ready to blow up in the sky their millions. The incessant shooting continues until 1-2 am, then became a bit less, and to 3 am almost dies down - curtain, people fed up not only themselves, but the sky too. And after such ”generosity”, when the holidays and money are finishing, comes the time for ”buckwheat and water”. Happy New Year, ho-ho!

- My character and appearance

Apres-midiMy character and appearance
It’s quite fascinating to learn how differently people’s characters work. It important to know when they are happy or upset, what brings them joy or grief. I see a deep meaning in exploring and understanding the whole variety of characters. To my mind, it is the main key to successful communication and long-term relationships with people. Today I want to tell a bit about myself to shed light on my unique personality. Since my childhood, I’ve always been a complete introvert. I took it after my dad. I always had a descent amount of independence and patience. I knew exactly what I wanted and how to achieve it. I guess I was an ambitious child. At the same time I was very sensitive and caring as my mother because I loved dressing my dolls and toys up and treating them as my kids. Also I loved to invade my mom’s wardrobe and chose fancy outfits as well as doing make up using her cosmetics. It explains why I am so much into fashion now. My attempts to be like mom, using her cloth and cosmetics made her furious. I was so energetic that once my mom turned away for a minute and I had already had made myself a completely new haircut. Most of all I love my determination and self-control because I never had discipline problems. I definitely took it after my dad. He is a decisive man who doesn’t see any obstacles in front of him. The same principle with me. If I truly want something I will get it at all costs. I am self-possessed person. I never actually needed a big company to do something. I do almost everything by myself: walking, going to the cinema, going shopping, grabbing coffee, going to the concert. It was never a problem to me although I am a very sociable and friendly. I think that my independence and confidence are amongst my strong features. If we are talking about my negative qualities I don’t think that I will be objective in judging myself plus I tend not to call my weak points as drawbacks because they are can be positive and useful depending on the situation I am at. Once a person said to me that I am well-bred young girl with aristocratic manners, that I make an impression of polite, intelligent and serious person who is confident and self-sufficient. And a few words about my appearance. I assume that I took after my dad more than my mom because we always understood each other. We had the same habits some of these factors made me believe that I look like my dad. But more and more now people say that I took after my mom: mimics, voice, the color of the eyes, body structure, complexion. To conclude I want to add that at different times people pointed out my good taste in cloth, responsibility, vigilance and wisdom. Some of them might find me stubborn even hard-headed, anxious and too self-conscious but I am who I am at that particular moment and those features make my unique personality.

Studying history can give excellent examples to today’s society. If people know the causes and consequences of past actions, mistakes can be avoided. One major problem is war: if the factors leading to conflicts are known, the current policies can be better guided. Studying history can make us realize how much humanity has done and how much it still has to do. If we remember the past, we can create a better future.

Apres-midiM’y dad’s appearance
If you imagine the famous actor Leonardo DiCaprio you will recognize my dad’s physical appearance. They miraculously look almost alike. My dad is a handsome man with smooth nice complexion. He has small dark-blue eyes. His eyebrows are thick. He is round-faced with straight nose. He is tall and thin. He has a big tattoo on his chest, which depicts an eagle in the sky. As for his personality, he is kind and mindful. He is very attentive and caring. He always notices how people feel at the moment and if he sees that someone isn’t well he will make a person smile. He has a keen sense of humor. Dad likes walking around nature, spending every weekend with family, drinking deletions freshly brewed tea. He is very handy. He literally can repair anything. He even did all repaying in his flat by himself. He infinitely loves strolling around the historical city center. He adores going to the theatre. I tremendously love my dad. I think he is a very wise and sensitive man. I am grateful to the destiny for giving me him as my parent.

55OlgaUnwanted gifts
December is the worst month of the year in my opinion. I dislike it not only for its dark short days and cloudy cool weather, but also because of my birthday and New year comes this month. It’s hectic times, time of unnecessary gifts. Have you got such ones? I’m sure you did, everyone in his life got unwanted gifts. How embarrassing it is. You are in a silly condition. The choice isn’t good at all - you can pretend to be happy or offend the giver. Being a rectilinear person, I often offend my givers, although to my justification I could say that suffering much when I’m in such situation. But is it better to safe a thing you didn’t need? Actually I’m on the side of minimalism, so most thing that people give me are absolutely unnecessary to me. People are making their space with lots of staff, most of which is junk and would like me also be the same. Actually I much happier when people don’t remember about my birthday and by myself I also would prefer to forget about it. New Year is also not better. Everyone is fusses, hurries, wastes, spends like it’s in the last time, while this commotion is happend each year. Each year just the same - people are waiting for a wonder, waiting and hoping, but then New Year has come, the champagne has been drunk, the caviar eaten, the unnecessary gifts given... I don’t see nothing good in that another year has passed, that I became older and that ”New year, new happy has come”, my old one wasn’t bad at all and I didn’t live there enough. Anyway soon it will come, well let’s it come, but is it so necessary to prepare for it as for the end of the world? I don’t think so. However, it doesn’t stop me to wish you Happy New year and all the best.

Apres-midiAppearances
Thankfully, God has created all human beings in the likeness of a soul. Despite that we are all unique, inimitable creatures with distinct features. I want to give my opinion on how I perceive different personalities and appearances. I am an attentive person. I like details and thoughtfulness. I like to scrutinize people’s appearance, complexion and facial structure and find fascinating elements of one’s cloth and personal style. I’m fond of noticeable people who have individuality and don’t try to hide it or to imitate other people slavishly. I literally have goosebumps every time I see a person in the street from whom you can feel his/her uniqueness and that he/she accepts and loves the way he/she is. Of course, appearances are deceptive. You always have to look in one’s heart in order to get to know someone. I’m agree that sometimes appearances can deceptive because, for instance, my grandpa seldom smiled. He had a powerful and strong voice. His eyebrows were bushy and drawn-together. He made an impression of a harsh and bossy man. But in reality he was the kindest and emotional person I’ve ever known. He loved to cuddle with me and make funny noises. He was very artistic. To conclude, I believe that appearances are deceptive but we can use this as a tool to make the right first impression and to win people over.

55OlgaHomemade things
A couple of years ago I made home chocolate. It was much healthier and delicious from that you can buy in a shop by a reasonable price. I decided to make it again this year. Of course exactly in that period, as in the last time - in December. All because in winter I often have more free time and besides started to get bored. So homemade things like candles, soap, socks and chocolate are making exactly in this time. Candles I still have from the last year, soap recently has already made, so I decided it comes the time for chocolate. However, no such luck. For two years the main ingredients for chocolate, which are cocoa butter and cocoa mass increased in price at least in four times! Of course I understand that all is getting more expensive, but usually it’s not more than in twice. But when the price is highed up more than in for times, then the thing is already become a luxury. So I was forced to say ”no” to homemade chocolate and evidently will put my attention to socks again. I’m knitting also just during winter. I had experience with a sweater, gloves, scarfs, hats, but still my favourite one is knitting socks. It’s easy, faster and relaxing. What a pity that the country which exports to us everything, including caoutchouc, while it’s profile rather only potato, apparently does not supply to us this kind of luxury as cocoa things. Well then, probably I’ll stay slim, although not so happy as could be with chocolate.

55OlgaThe grey grave of December
Winter rain is dripping. Drops are lazily rolling down the windows. Days are grey and cloudy. Although it’s quite warm - +7C. It’s the most unlikable month of the year has come. The most dark and grey time in my region, when the average total cloudiness score is 8.1 and the daylight is just about 7 hours. It seems I just returned from morning walking, but it’s already time for the evening one. And then long evening, often by the fire. Fortunately, when it’s as warm as now, I can heat my house much less. To the start of December remnants of the recent snowfall completely disappeared. Gave us a false sense of spring, while the winter just has started. The temperature is highed up and at the same time the sky covered up with inversion clouds. Well then, it seems appropriate time to plant the bulbs of tulips, which arrived quite late. I like spring flowers, they are the first remark of coming spring, the first joy, while trees are still bared. So I’ve been planting more and more of it each autumn, to get bright beautiful spring. And for now, while it’s so far of us, I warm up myself with nice drinks. Hot drinks are goes well in this time of the year. I drink a lot of tea now, especially in the mornings after swimming. Cocoa and matcha latte tea are also go well. I could put in this line also wine, a glass of which can warm up the soul in cold long evenings.. I wish you a lot of pleasant time, warm and sunny days!

Accomodation and transport problems are increasing in many bid bg cities. Businesses are encouraged to move to rural areas. Do the advantages outweigh the disadvantages? With the elevation in the severity of traffic and housing issues, resulting from increased density of residents, it is suggested that. companies relocate to rural areas. Personally, it is my firm conviction. aboul that moving away from the metropolis would bring more benefits than drawbacks. On the one hand, encouraging businesses to headquarter in more remote communities is reasonable. In urban areas. It is a commonly known fact that large cities’ population is extremely high due to immigrants in pursuit of job and education opportunities . Therefore, an increase in housing prices and traffic problems, especially during rush hour is unavoidable. As a result, with the relocation of organization, the employees will be less burdened with worries of time and money spent for accommodation and daily commute. On the other hand, having the main office in a less populous region would pose a great challenge for employers. In particular, big cities are where essential resource ingredients are coordinated, such as the human resources or certain cutting-edge technologies, infrastructures. Thus their development would be greatly obstructed if moving to another region that does not grant access to as my what cities had previously offered. Moreover, lower customer demand in these places also translates to decreased amounts of service needed. This phenomenon leads to the loss of a large portion of consumers, directly affecting the livelihood of the workers. In conclusion, after weighing the pros and cons of this idea, I believe businesses, especially conglomerates should consider moving to rural societies in order to partly alleviate the crisis of housing and transportation overload. However, managers should be aware to prepare themselves for the potential risks associated with this measure.
